Strathmore University Business School Hosts Board Members of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda

On Friday, 11th February 2022, Strathmore University Business School hosted seventeen Board Members from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda for a courtesy visit.

During the visit, the Strathmore University Vice Chancellor Designate, Dr. Vincent Ogutu, took the board members through the history, operations and the various Programmes and offerings at the Business School and the University at large. This session was aimed at familiarising the board members with the University in terms of the foundation, history, operations, Programmes offered and future expansion plans.

Speaking during the visit, Richard Byarugaba, CEO and Managing Director of NSSF – Uganda noted that the organisation has greatly benefited from previous training of senior and middle-level managers conducted by the Business School.

After the meeting session, the board members visited the iLab Africa Innovation hub at Strathmore University. iLab Africa spearheads Research and Innovation in Information Communication Technology for the Development (ICT4D) of ecosystems towards the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to contribute toward Kenya’s Vision 2030.
