On Wednesday, 19th March 2025, Strathmore University had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Danish Ministry of Higher Education. This visit marked a pivotal moment in strengthening academic and research partnerships between Danish universities and Strathmore, opening new avenues for innovation, knowledge exchange, and cross-border collaboration.
Led by Søren Knudsen Møller, Deputy Head of Mission at the Royal Danish Embassy in Nairobi, the delegation comprised university leaders from all eight Danish universities. Their mission was clear: to explore avenues for collaboration in key areas such as sustainability, technology, and academic research. By bringing together thought leaders from both nations, the visit underscored the importance of international partnerships in addressing contemporary global challenges.
During the discussions, Dr. Vincent Ogutu, Vice Chancellor, Strathmore University, emphasized the institution’s unwavering commitment to advancing education and research at the university through global collaboration.
