SBS Partners with Futurize Limited for the Fuel Africa Programme

On Tuesday, 21st March 2023, SBS entered a partnership agreement with Futurize Limited to strengthen entrepreneurial efforts across the continent and to build better, long-lasting collaboration with universities and their student community.

With this partnership, Futurize and Strathmore University Business School will deliver value to the student community and position Strathmore University at the forefront of technology.

The objectives of this partnership include:

• energizing students across Africa,
• capturing the mindshare of student entrepreneurs by building a strong community,
• assisting students with technical support to create new startups, and to build a pipeline to funnel student developer talent.

Fuel Africa will serve as a pilot programme to create a collaboration with Futurize to support Strathmore University to co-create and execute other programs in the future.

SBS will serve as the official university partner for this programme alongside other universities across the continent, including universities from Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, Ethiopia and more.
