Strathmore Business School Alumni Relations office is seeking nominations for SBS Alumni Association Council

Members who will ultimately be vetted by the Management Committee and Management board before being appointed by the University Council.  The total number of council members according to the constitution is

The council members will serve for a period of 3 years, which will be renewable for a further 3 years. The process will start with submission of possible candidates by our alumni body after which the SBS Management Committee will undertake vetting and submit names to the University Management Board for approval before the University Council makes final decisions and appointments.

After the appointments are made the council members will then elect the following positions:

  1. Chair of the SBS Alumni Association
  2. Deputy Chair of the SBS Alumni Association
  3. Secretary of the SBS Alumni Association
  4. Treasurer of the SBS Alumni Association

Below are the qualities that SBS Alumni Office is seeking for the nominees.

  1. A person of Integrity and Ethical Leadership
  2. A person committed to service to society
  3. A person who respects academic and professional excellence
  4. A person with collaborative Spirit
  5. A person loyal and engaged with the SBS brand
  6. A person who understands the global and pan-African outlook

Nominations will be received up to 31st August 2025. Final council members will be announced in November 2025 and they will take up office on 1st January 2026.
