href=\"https:\/\/www.ceprec.co\/\">CEPREC<\/a> William Murithi, professeur \u00e0 la Strathmore Business School et responsable national de l'\u00e9quipe du CEPREC au Kenya, a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9union passionnante avec des repr\u00e9sentants de l'Union europ\u00e9enne. <a href=\"https:\/\/afterlifeinnovations.netlify.app\">AfterLife Innovations<\/a><strong>,<\/strong> une startup dirig\u00e9e par des \u00e9tudiants de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore, et Bernard Muciu, titulaire d'une ma\u00eetrise en technologie de l'\u00e9nergie durable (MSET) \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore, qui effectue des recherches sur le stockage des batteries. \u00c9taient \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sents Gladys Ombati, \u00e9tudiante en doctorat qui \u00e9tudie les mod\u00e8les commerciaux pour les micro-r\u00e9seaux circulaires, Andrew Adwera, \u00e9tudiant en doctorat sur la mod\u00e9lisation des batteries de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques pour les micro-r\u00e9seaux circulaires, et Sheila Chepkorir, assistante de projet pour le CEPREC, au Kenya.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>L'\u00e9quipe du CEPREC est \u00e9galement compos\u00e9e du professeur Izael Da Silva, DVC Research and Innovation et co-investigateur du projet, du docteur Churchill Saoke, directeur du Strathmore Energy Resource Centre (SERC) et co-investigateur ; tous deux apportent leur expertise en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, et du docteur Peter Kimani, ing\u00e9nieur chimiste bas\u00e9 \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Nairobi. Ce qui a retenu l'attention, c'est la fa\u00e7on dont ces \u00e9tudiants de premier cycle - pour la plupart des ing\u00e9nieurs et des informaticiens - ont retrouss\u00e9 leurs manches pour transformer leurs id\u00e9es en solutions pratiques.<\/p>\n<p>William Murithi, responsable du CEPREC au Kenya, a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9quipe d'AfterLife de d\u00e9velopper un prototype de base d'un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique utilisant des mat\u00e9riaux recycl\u00e9s, qui sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 lors de notre r\u00e9union des parties prenantes au Kenya l'ann\u00e9e prochaine. L'initiative CEPREC est con\u00e7ue pour rapprocher le monde universitaire de l'industrie et des d\u00e9cideurs politiques, en associant la conception pratique \u00e0 l'innovation circulaire. Nous utiliserons cette plateforme pour mettre en lumi\u00e8re les solutions propos\u00e9es par les \u00e9tudiants, \u00e0 commencer par AfterLife.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que CEPREC, nous fournirons des recherches, des conseils techniques et un soutien \u00e0 l'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me \u00e0 AfterLife Innovations - y compris des connexions avec des chercheurs locaux et mondiaux, des partenaires industriels et des plates-formes d'\u00e9change de connaissances au sein de notre r\u00e9seau de projets et au-del\u00e0. Le CEPREC a une perspective mondiale, avec des partenaires au Royaume-Uni et des collaborateurs panafricains, dont la Namibie, le Nigeria, le Rwanda, Siera Leon et l'Afrique du Sud.
