gratuit\u00e9 de l'enseignement primaire et secondaire du gouvernement zambien, l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9 dans la province du Sud, en particulier dans la r\u00e9gion de Mazabuka, reste un d\u00e9fi de taille. Si cette politique a permis d'augmenter le nombre d'inscriptions, des obstacles profond\u00e9ment enracin\u00e9s, tels que la m\u00e9diocrit\u00e9 des infrastructures, les longues distances \u00e0 parcourir pour se rendre \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole et la p\u00e9nurie d'enseignants qualifi\u00e9s, continuent de limiter les possibilit\u00e9s d'apprentissage. Pour les adolescentes, le trajet quotidien \u00e0 pied jusqu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9cole les expose \u00e0 des risques de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, contribue \u00e0 l'absent\u00e9isme et les conduit souvent \u00e0 abandonner compl\u00e8tement l'\u00e9cole. La plupart des \u00e9coles priv\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis ; cependant, elles ont \u00e9galement d\u00fb faire face \u00e0 des contraintes similaires, notamment la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration des infrastructures et le manque de foyers, qui aggravent les probl\u00e8mes m\u00eames qu'elles visent \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'\u00e9cole James Corboy, g\u00e9r\u00e9e par les Religieuses du Saint-Esprit (RSHS), en est un exemple. Alors que la demande d'\u00e9ducation des filles augmentait et que le nombre d'inscriptions commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 cro\u00eetre, la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de disposer d'un internat devenait de plus en plus urgente. Cependant, avec un financement externe limit\u00e9 et l'absence d'une infrastructure ad\u00e9quate, la congr\u00e9gation s'est trouv\u00e9e dans une impasse difficile. \u201cNous avions le terrain et les \u00e9l\u00e8ves arrivaient, mais nous n'avions pas d'internat\u201d, se souvient une s\u0153ur. \u201cLe risque d'abandon des filles devenait de plus en plus r\u00e9el.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2024, trois s\u0153urs des Religious Sisters of the Holy Spirit (RSHS) ont rejoint le Social Enterprise Programme (SEP) Scale dans le cadre du Sisters Blended Value Project (SBVP), une initiative collaborative mise en \u0153uvre par la Strathmore Business School en partenariat avec ACWECA et soutenue par la Fondation Conrad N. Hilton. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une combinaison de formation au leadership, de coaching et d'apprentissage par les pairs, le programme a permis aux s\u0153urs d'acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences et la confiance n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9imaginer leur approche de l'impact durable.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leur coach, le Dr Nancy Njiraini, les a encourag\u00e9s \u00e0 changer de perspective : \u201cCommencez par ce que vous avez\u201d, leur a-t-elle conseill\u00e9. Ce simple conseil a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une perc\u00e9e.
