9<sup>th<\/sup> En mai 2025, nous avons accueilli le module de Nairobi du programme Global CEO Africa. Le module, dont le th\u00e8me \u00e9tait ; <em>Comprendre les perspectives mondiales et celles de l'Afrique de l'Est et du Sud,<\/em> ont ouvert la voie \u00e0 un \u00e9change riche en id\u00e9es, en strat\u00e9gies et en meilleures pratiques de leadership pendant toute une semaine. La cohorte de cette ann\u00e9e rassemble des participants du Kenya, du Nigeria, du Cameroun et de l'Ouganda et repr\u00e9sente une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de secteurs tels que la banque, la technologie, l'\u00e9nergie et l'assurance.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par une session sur le leadership transformationnel \u00e9thique avec le Dr. Caesar Mwangi, qui a soulign\u00e9 l'importance d'une prise de d\u00e9cision fond\u00e9e sur des principes dans une \u00e8re de changement rapide.<\/p>\n<p>Le potentiel sous-exploit\u00e9 du commerce intra-r\u00e9gional de l'Afrique a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'un des principaux points de r\u00e9flexion du programme. Les rapports montrent que seulement 15-18% du commerce africain se fait \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du continent, bien en dessous des 60% de l'Europe et des 40% de l'Am\u00e9rique du Nord. La session, anim\u00e9e par Allen Sophia Asiimwe, chef des programmes de TradeMark Africa, a examin\u00e9 comment des initiatives telles que la zone de libre-\u00e9change continentale africaine (AfCFTA) visent \u00e0 inverser la tendance en supprimant les barri\u00e8res commerciales et en promouvant l'int\u00e9gration \u00e9conomique r\u00e9gionale.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme comportait deux \u00e9tudes de cas kenyanes, celle de East African Breweries PLC (EABL) et celle d'Equity Group. Jane Karuku, PDG du groupe East African Breweries PLC (EABL), nous a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la r\u00e9ponse strat\u00e9gique de l'entreprise \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. Ses r\u00e9flexions, accompagn\u00e9es de l'\u00e9tude de cas \u201cEABL : Navigating a Major Disruption\u201d, ont permis de tirer des le\u00e7ons pratiques en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9silience et d'innovation.<\/p>\n<p>James Mwangi, PDG d'Equity Group, et Mary Wangari Wamae, ancienne directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d'Equity Bank, ont racont\u00e9 l'histoire remarquable de l'expansion strat\u00e9gique d'Equity Bank en R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC). Leurs r\u00e9flexions sur la croissance par l'acquisition ont illustr\u00e9 un leadership audacieux et r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi en action.<\/p>\n<p>Le module de Nairobi s'est conclu par une visite de terrain inspirante \u00e0 SHOFCO (Shining Hope for Communities), un mouvement populaire dont le si\u00e8ge se trouve \u00e0 Kibera. Dirig\u00e9 par Mark Muriithi Laichena et Iovanna Mesopir, SHOFCO transforme la vie des habitants des quartiers informels gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des services tels que :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation<\/li>\n<li>Eau, assainissement et hygi\u00e8ne (WASH)<\/li>\n<li>Programmes de moyens de subsistance durables<\/li>\n<li>Le r\u00e9seau urbain SHOFCO (SUN)<\/li>\n<li>Initiatives en mati\u00e8re de genre et d'autonomisation des femmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La visite a rappel\u00e9 aux participants le leadership \u00e9thique, le d\u00e9veloppement inclusif et le r\u00f4le profond de l'innovation locale dans la construction d'un avenir meilleur pour tous.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le module de Nairobi, nous pr\u00e9voyons la prochaine \u00e9tape du programme \u00e0 la Lagos Business School \u00e0 Lagos, au Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c0 propos du programme Global CEO Africa <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En tant que leader du secteur, vous tracez la voie de votre entreprise, d\u00e9finissez sa strat\u00e9gie et encouragez une culture guid\u00e9e par des objectifs clairs et une mission commune.
