I joined Strathmore University Business School (SBS) in February 2015, marking what has been nearly a decade of professional growth and personal transformation. My journey began as a Programme Associate for the MBA in Healthcare Management (MBA HCM), which was barely two years old. I was tasked with managing the class and overseeing the sales\u2014an exciting opportunity that allowed me to interact with professionals from diverse sectors.<\/p>\n

The first two years were profoundly enriching. I had the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds in the healthcare industry, including top ophthalmologists. The Programme was a rich mix of the broader health sector, bringing together leaders from across the country. One story that stands out is that of Eileen, an entrepreneur from Mombasa, who initially struggled with the fees. She was on the verge of giving up when I shared the flexible payment structure with her. This simple conversation reignited her determination, and she not only managed to pay her fees ahead of schedule but also went on to expand her clinic into several branches. Her success story, along with others in the Programme, highlights the transformative impact of education at SBS. Many of my students went on to grow their businesses, transitioning from general practice to roles in pharmaceuticals and beyond.<\/p>\n

In 2017, I transitioned into Executive Education, where I focused on supporting the seamless delivery of our Programmes to executives. I enjoyed guiding participants through their educational journeys, even for those who faced challenges completing their programmes. The relationships we built with these individuals, many of whom return for further education, have been key to our long-term success. A great example is Dr. Maxwell Okoth and his wife, Dr. Joan from RFH Healthcare, who was part of the MBA HCM Programme, and both continue to champion SBS’s vision.<\/p>\n

The success of SBS can be attributed to the deep, lasting relationships we build with our clients and students. We don\u2019t just offer programmes; we create an ecosystem of support where we go the extra mile to ensure every participant receives the full value of their education. Whether addressing client concerns, collaborating with faculty, or overcoming challenges, we remain focused on delivering a world-class experience that aligns with our mission of transformation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

One of the aspects I cherish most about SBS is the strong sense of family among colleagues. We support each other, and our collaborative environment ensures that no project is ever stalled. Over the years, I\u2019ve faced my own challenges, but I\u2019ve always found the support of my colleagues invaluable. Together, we\u2019ve built a leading institution that is making a profound impact across East Africa and beyond.<\/p>\n

As Head of Client Experience, I am deeply committed to ensuring that every interaction with SBS reflects our vision of excellence. We continually refine our programs and client services to deliver high-quality experiences that meet the evolving needs of our students and partners.<\/p>\n
