Mon parcours personnel en mati\u00e8re de leadership a commenc\u00e9 en 2010, lorsque j'ai assum\u00e9 le r\u00f4le d'administratrice adjointe. En 2015, je suis pass\u00e9e au monde universitaire en rejoignant la School of Management and Commerce en tant qu'assistante dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e. Depuis lors, j'ai occup\u00e9 divers postes administratifs et acad\u00e9miques, jusqu'\u00e0 mon poste actuel de charg\u00e9e de cours \u00e0 la Strathmore University Business School (SBS). Cette progression repr\u00e9sente non seulement mon d\u00e9veloppement personnel, mais aussi mon engagement in\u00e9branlable \u00e0 promouvoir une \u00e9ducation efficace \u00e0 travers l'Afrique.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>En 2018, la fusion de SBS avec l'\u00c9cole de gestion a marqu\u00e9 un moment charni\u00e8re sous la direction visionnaire du professeur David Wangombe et du Dr George Njenga. Leurs conseils transformateurs ont renforc\u00e9 mon alignement sur la mission de SBS : remodeler le paysage commercial gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un enseignement innovant et \u00e0 un leadership \u00e9thique. Cette mission refl\u00e8te mon aspiration \u00e0 donner aux futurs dirigeants les moyens d'apporter des changements positifs dans leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Depuis que je suis \u00e0 la SBS, j'ai contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs initiatives acad\u00e9miques importantes. Il s'agit notamment de l'\u00e9laboration de programmes d'\u00e9tudes pour la licence en commerce et la ma\u00eetrise en sciences dans les programmes de financement du d\u00e9veloppement. Ces programmes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour relever les d\u00e9fis du monde r\u00e9el auxquels sont confront\u00e9es les entreprises africaines, en associant la rigueur th\u00e9orique \u00e0 l'application pratique. Voir les \u00e9tudiants utiliser les connaissances acquises pour r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes commerciaux complexes est une source de grande fiert\u00e9 et a renforc\u00e9 mon d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 l'enseignement et au mentorat.<\/p>\n<p>L'influence de SBS s'\u00e9tend \u00e0 toute l'Afrique, servant de p\u00f4le d'excellence qui inspire l'innovation et l'esprit d'entreprise chez les \u00e9tudiants et les professionnels. Que ce soit par des conf\u00e9rences ou des fonctions administratives, j'ai eu le privil\u00e8ge de contribuer \u00e0 cet h\u00e9ritage.<\/p>\n<p>Le chemin vers l'excellence n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 sans difficult\u00e9s. La nature dynamique de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur en Afrique exige de l'adaptabilit\u00e9, de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et de la r\u00e9silience. La r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes tels que les contraintes de ressources et les besoins en constante \u00e9volution des programmes d'\u00e9tudes a fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 ma compr\u00e9hension d'un leadership efficace. J'ai appris que les vrais dirigeants doivent r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes de mani\u00e8re proactive, accepter le changement et inciter les autres \u00e0 faire de m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>Aux futurs \u00e9tudiants et coll\u00e8gues de la SBS, j'invite \u00e0 la curiosit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l'ouverture d'esprit. Le leadership est un voyage permanent qui exige d\u00e9vouement, collaboration et un d\u00e9sir authentique de cr\u00e9er un impact significatif. Les opportunit\u00e9s d'apprentissage sont nombreuses, tant \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur qu'\u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur de la salle de classe, et chacune d'entre elles contribue \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner votre parcours de leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que vous vous engagez sur votre chemin, n'oubliez pas que vos contributions peuvent s'\u00e9tendre bien au-del\u00e0 de vos cercles imm\u00e9diats. Ensemble, nous pouvons construire un h\u00e9ritage d'excellence et d'innovation \u00e0 SBS et au-del\u00e0, en cultivant une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de leaders \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour naviguer dans les complexit\u00e9s du monde d'aujourd'hui.
