Business School (SBS), in partnership with PharmAccess, Catholic Relief Services, and the Catholic Archdiocese of Kisumu, has launched a pioneering training Programme designed to equip healthcare administrators with essential business management skills. This initiative marks a significant step toward addressing the critical need for stronger leadership and operational efficiency in healthcare facilities within the archdiocese.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Healthcare administrators play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of medical facilities, which directly impacts the quality of care patients receive. However, many of these leaders have not had access to the specialized training required to manage complex healthcare operations effectively. Recognizing this gap, the program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of facility administrators, empowering them to improve the sustainability and quality of healthcare services.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The comprehensive training covers a range of key areas, including financial management, human resources, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making. By mastering these topics, healthcare administrators will be better equipped to optimize their operations, streamline workflows, and enhance patient experiences. Additionally, the Programme provides valuable insights into the practical challenges faced by healthcare facilities, ensuring that participants can implement real-world solutions that positively impact their communities.<\/p>\n<p>By bringing together the expertise and resources of academic institutions like SBS, NGOs such as PharmAccess and Catholic Relief Services, and the Catholic Archdiocese of Kisumu, the Programme demonstrates how diverse stakeholders can work together to address pressing challenges in healthcare. It also sets a model for sustainable, community-driven healthcare development that has the potential to be replicated across the region and beyond.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The impact of this Programme goes beyond the classroom. By empowering healthcare administrators with the tools and knowledge they need to drive meaningful change, we are fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in Kisumu\u2019s healthcare system.
