This COIL course was taught in partnership with the Rennes School of Business (RSB) in France.<\/p>\n<p>The essence of the COIL experience is to provide students with opportunities to work collaboratively with peers from another country online. In this course, our students partnered with RSB students to develop a strategic plan for the entry of a non-African company into Africa. They were tasked with justifying the company&#8217;s expansion into Africa, selecting specific countries for entry, choosing the most suitable entry mode, and developing a positioning strategy for the company.<\/p>\n<p>The Master of Commerce students described the experience as &#8216;joyful&#8217;, &#8216;highly rewarding&#8217;, and &#8216;a good learning experience&#8217;, among other positive remarks.
