L'atelier de d\u00e9veloppement de programmes d'\u00e9tudes de la semaine derni\u00e8re, de 16th<\/sup> \u00e0 18 ansth<\/sup> La conf\u00e9rence d'avril 2024 \u00e0 l'h\u00f4tel Merica de Nakuru \u00e9tait plus qu'un simple rassemblement d'esprits - c'\u00e9tait une convergence dynamique d'expertise, de passion et d'objectifs visant \u00e0 transformer le paysage du leadership en mati\u00e8re de soins de sant\u00e9 au Kenya. Dirig\u00e9e par le professeur Gilbert Kokwaro, visionnaire de l'Institute of Healthcare Management, et le dynamique docteur Jackline Aridi, cette initiative s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e dans le cadre du projet \u2018Uongozi wa Afya Mashinani\u2019, une composante essentielle du vaste Global Health Workforce Programme (GHWP) financ\u00e9 par le minist\u00e8re britannique de la sant\u00e9 et de la protection sociale (DHSC).<\/p>\n

La mission du GHWP n'est rien moins que transformatrice : donner aux personnels de sant\u00e9 du Ghana, du Kenya et du Nigeria les moyens de renforcer les syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie et de progresser vers la couverture sanitaire universelle. Dans le cadre de cette grande vision, l'initiative \u2018Uongozi wa Afya Mashinani\u2019 s'impose comme le phare du progr\u00e8s au Kenya, en ciblant l'am\u00e9lioration des services de soins de sant\u00e9 primaires gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'autonomisation des responsables locaux de la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Mis en \u0153uvre en collaboration par Intrahealth International - Kenya, Primary Care International (UK) et Strathmore Business School, le r\u00e9cent atelier sur le programme d'\u00e9tudes du projet a t\u00e9moign\u00e9 de la coop\u00e9ration interdisciplinaire. Des experts en la mati\u00e8re issus de divers milieux, tant du secteur public que du secteur priv\u00e9, y ont minutieusement \u00e9labor\u00e9 des modules de formation ax\u00e9s sur le leadership, la gestion et la gouvernance et destin\u00e9s aux responsables des soins de sant\u00e9 primaires de dix comt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

L'essence de l'atelier allait au-del\u00e0 du discours acad\u00e9mique - il s'agissait d'un appel \u00e0 l'action. Les participants ont approfondi les nuances de la mise en place et de la gestion des r\u00e9seaux de sant\u00e9 publique, en s'appuyant sur le mod\u00e8le innovant \"Hub & Spoke\" pour am\u00e9liorer l'efficacit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience de la prestation de services. Le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 d'un engagement en faveur de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes et de l'inclusion sociale, reconnaissant l'imp\u00e9ratif d'un acc\u00e8s et d'une repr\u00e9sentation \u00e9quitables aux soins de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Pour la Strathmore Business School, cette collaboration repr\u00e9sente plus qu'un engagement acad\u00e9mique ; c'est un manifeste de durabilit\u00e9 et de responsabilit\u00e9 sociale. Ancr\u00e9s dans le th\u00e8me \u2018Prendre soin des gens et de la plan\u00e8te\u2019, ces efforts concert\u00e9s d\u00e9fendent une approche holistique du leadership en mati\u00e8re de soins de sant\u00e9, enrichissant non seulement les comp\u00e9tences des individus mais aussi le tissu des communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00c0 la fin de l'atelier, au milieu de discussions anim\u00e9es et d'aspirations partag\u00e9es, Nakuru a t\u00e9moign\u00e9 de l'av\u00e8nement d'une nouvelle \u00e8re dans le domaine des soins de sant\u00e9, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par la collaboration, l'innovation et un d\u00e9vouement in\u00e9branlable au bien-\u00eatre de tous. Le chemin \u00e0 parcourir est riche de promesses et fait \u00e9cho aux accords harmonieux conclus par les diverses parties prenantes, unies dans la poursuite d'un avenir plus sain et plus \u00e9quitable.<\/p>\n
