1200px\" \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><p>Entre 2<sup>nd<\/sup> et 5<sup>th<\/sup> En avril 2024, nous avons accueilli la classe 2024 du Women Directors Leadership Programme, pour son premier module au Strathmore University Business School Nairobi Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Ce module a permis aux participants de s'embarquer pour un voyage d'une semaine au cours duquel ils ont approfondi des sujets cruciaux pour un leadership efficace au sein d'un conseil d'administration. Des principes fondamentaux du conseil d'administration \u00e0 la navigation dans les dynamiques li\u00e9es au genre, les participants se sont engag\u00e9s dans des discussions portant sur l'\u00e9tiquette du conseil d'administration, la structure du conseil, la distinction entre les r\u00f4les du conseil d'administration et de la direction, et l'int\u00e9gration des consid\u00e9rations environnementales, sociales et de gouvernance (ESG) dans la gouvernance du conseil d'administration, parmi d'autres sujets pertinents.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la semaine intensive \u00e0 Nairobi, les participants poursuivront leur apprentissage avec un deuxi\u00e8me module \u00e0 la prestigieuse Cranfield School of Management de Londres, suivi d'un dernier module dans le cadre pittoresque d'Amboseli.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s les sessions de cours, le module s'est achev\u00e9 par un d\u00eener qui a rassembl\u00e9 les participants de cette ann\u00e9e ainsi que les anciens participants au programme de 2018 \u00e0 aujourd'hui.<\/p>\n<p>Caesar Mwangi, doyen ex\u00e9cutif de l'\u00e9cole de commerce de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore, a ax\u00e9 son discours de bienvenue sur trois attributs cl\u00e9s : Comp\u00e9tence, Caract\u00e8re et Courage. M. Mwangi a encourag\u00e9 les femmes dirigeantes non seulement \u00e0 mettre en valeur leurs comp\u00e9tences, mais aussi \u00e0 faire preuve d'une grande force de caract\u00e8re dans toutes leurs entreprises, tout en d\u00e9montrant constamment le courage de poursuivre leurs aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>Ajoutant \u00e0 la richesse du programme, Mercy Wanjau, secr\u00e9taire du cabinet de la R\u00e9publique du Kenya et ancienne \u00e9l\u00e8ve du programme de leadership des femmes dirigeantes, a partag\u00e9 son parcours personnel et ses r\u00e9flexions sur le programme. En soulignant les avantages inestimables des r\u00e9seaux et des partenariats forg\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce au programme, Mme Wanjau a insist\u00e9 sur le r\u00f4le du programme dans l'autonomisation des femmes dirigeantes et dans l'am\u00e9lioration de leur croissance et de leur impact professionnels.<\/p>\n<p>Les <a href=\"https:\/\/sbs.strathmore.edu\/fr\/programme-de-leadership-pour-les-femmes-administrateurs\/\">Programme de leadership pour les femmes administrateurs (WDLP)<\/a> est un programme incisif qui vise \u00e0 mettre l'accent non plus sur les raisons pour lesquelles les femmes devraient si\u00e9ger dans les conseils d'administration et les postes de direction, mais sur la mani\u00e8re dont elles devraient se comporter pour atteindre l'excellence en mati\u00e8re de conseil d'administration et de leadership. Le programme WDLP t\u00e9moigne de l'engagement de l'\u00e9cole de commerce de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore \u00e0 favoriser un leadership inclusif et \u00e0 faire progresser la diversit\u00e9 des genres dans les conseils d'administration des entreprises. Alors que les femmes leaders continuent d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des postes de direction, des programmes comme celui-ci jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel en les dotant des comp\u00e9tences, des connaissances et des r\u00e9seaux n\u00e9cessaires pour susciter des changements significatifs au sein de leurs organisations et de leurs communaut\u00e9s.
