    L'\u00e9cole de commerce de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore (SBS) s'est engag\u00e9e dans un voyage de transformation vers l'accr\u00e9ditation AACSB, affirmant ainsi son engagement en faveur de l'excellence acad\u00e9mique et de la reconnaissance mondiale. La r\u00e9cente session d'information qui s'est tenue les 25 et 26 mars 2024 a mis en lumi\u00e8re l'importance de l'accr\u00e9ditation AACSB et le r\u00f4le central des \u00e9coles de commerce dans l'\u00e9volution de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

    Anim\u00e9e par Ihsan Zakri, responsable r\u00e9gional de l'AACSB pour le Moyen-Orient et l'Afrique, la session s'est pench\u00e9e sur la mani\u00e8re dont les \u00e9coles de commerce contribuent \u00e0 la transformation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. La pr\u00e9sentation de M. Zakri a soulign\u00e9 l'importance de l'accr\u00e9ditation AACSB en tant que marque d'une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9, encourageant l'innovation et stimulant la croissance \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

    L'accr\u00e9ditation de l'AACSB offre aux \u00e9coles de commerce une reconnaissance internationale, am\u00e9liore les possibilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement du corps professoral et facilite la collaboration avec des institutions de premier plan dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    La premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e de discussions a rassembl\u00e9 des repr\u00e9sentants d'universit\u00e9s de tout le Kenya pour explorer les tendances mondiales et locales de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. Les tendances mondiales, telles que les initiatives de transfert de cr\u00e9dits entre les universit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes et la Convention d'Addis sur l'harmonisation des normes de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur en Afrique, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9es. L'importance du partage des donn\u00e9es et de l'accr\u00e9ditation pour garantir l'assurance qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

    Au niveau local, les discussions ont port\u00e9 sur l'introduction du programme d'\u00e9tudes bas\u00e9 sur les comp\u00e9tences (CBC). Cela a suscit\u00e9 des discussions sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour les universit\u00e9s de s'adapter et de s'\u00e9quiper pour les \u00e9tudiants qui suivent actuellement le CBC.<\/p>\n

    Une table ronde anim\u00e9e par Ian Wairua et Alfred Kitawi a mis l'accent sur l'importance de la collaboration entre universit\u00e9s concurrentes, appel\u00e9e \u201ccoop\u00e9tition\u201d. Le consensus \u00e9tait que le partage des connaissances et des ressources profitait en fin de compte \u00e0 toutes les parties prenantes.<\/p>\n

    La deuxi\u00e8me journ\u00e9e a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par les r\u00e9flexions d'Edward Mungai, vice-chancelier adjoint charg\u00e9 des partenariats et du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore. M. Mungai a soulign\u00e9 l'engagement de Strathmore en faveur de l'impact mondial et l'approche proactive de l'autodiscipline pour rester en t\u00eate dans un paysage \u00e9ducatif en \u00e9volution rapide. \u201cL'obtention de l'accr\u00e9ditation nous permettra de maintenir une culture d'apprentissage perp\u00e9tuel et d'am\u00e9liorer notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 forger des partenariats de grande valeur.\u201d<\/p>\n

    En conclusion, le doyen a remerci\u00e9 le comit\u00e9 d'accr\u00e9ditation de Strathmore pour son d\u00e9vouement, comparant ses efforts \u00e0 l'esprit pionnier des fondateurs de l'universit\u00e9.
