Le forum a soulign\u00e9 l'importance des liens avec le march\u00e9 et de la gestion financi\u00e8re pour la croissance des coop\u00e9ratives de base et des associations d'entreprises. Connu pour ses activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques agricoles, qui contribuent \u00e0 hauteur de 52,2 % au produit brut du comt\u00e9, l'atelier de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 point nomm\u00e9, alors que le chef du comt\u00e9, Son Excellence Hon. Fernandes Barasa OGW, s'efforce d'am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et la transformation \u00e9conomique en relan\u00e7ant les coop\u00e9ratives de base.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>S'exprimant au cours du forum, les membres du conseil d'administration ont affirm\u00e9 que les coop\u00e9ratives ont d'\u00e9normes possibilit\u00e9s d'\u00eatre le fer de lance de l'autonomisation des communaut\u00e9s et de la cr\u00e9ation de richesses. Cependant, des d\u00e9fis tels que le manque de liens avec le march\u00e9, la mauvaise qualit\u00e9 des intrants, le manque d'adoption de la technologie, les mauvaises structures de gouvernance et les contraintes financi\u00e8res entravent leur croissance.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201c\u00c0 Kakamega, les coop\u00e9ratives sont tr\u00e8s nombreuses. Cependant, nous manquons de prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 en raison d'un manque de connaissances dans des domaines tels que les march\u00e9s et la gestion financi\u00e8re. Si les finances sont contr\u00f4l\u00e9es au niveau des coop\u00e9ratives, la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 sera au rendez-vous\u2019, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Shikali Henry, pr\u00e9sident des coop\u00e9ratives laiti\u00e8res de Kakamega.<\/p>\n<p>La coop\u00e9rative laiti\u00e8re de Kakamega est un exemple classique du potentiel des coop\u00e9ratives dans la revitalisation de l'\u00e9conomie du comt\u00e9 ; une fronti\u00e8re pour la croissance \u00e9conomique, fournissant une source de subsistance \u00e0 tant de personnes. La coop\u00e9rative s'enorgueillit de compter 621 membres inscrits. Elle transforme 860 litres de lait par jour au prix de 50 Ksh le litre, mais elle envisage de se d\u00e9velopper en augmentant sa production et en relevant des d\u00e9fis tels que l'am\u00e9nagement d'une chambre froide pour le stockage des produits et d'une camionnette d\u00e9di\u00e9e pour transporter efficacement le lait vers les march\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Selon l'un des formateurs, M. Kigen, le renforcement des liens avec le march\u00e9 est essentiel pour r\u00e9duire les pertes apr\u00e8s r\u00e9colte, cr\u00e9er une r\u00e9partition plus \u00e9quitable du pouvoir au sein de la cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement, encourager les investissements et, d'une mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, faire progresser les pratiques agricoles. En outre, les comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de gestion financi\u00e8re sont essentielles pour prendre des d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es et \u00e9laborer des plans strat\u00e9giques efficaces.<\/p>\n<p>Le membre du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif du comt\u00e9 (CECM) pour l'agriculture, l'\u00e9levage, la p\u00eache et les coop\u00e9ratives, M. Benjamin Andama, a soulign\u00e9 que, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une coop\u00e9rative, les producteurs peuvent am\u00e9liorer leur productivit\u00e9, renforcer leur position dans la cha\u00eene de valeur, cr\u00e9er des moyens de subsistance plus durables pour leurs familles et leurs communaut\u00e9s et produire une meilleure alimentation pour tous.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Pour montrer leur engagement \u00e0 conduire le changement dans leurs coop\u00e9ratives, les dirigeants ont \u00e9labor\u00e9 des strat\u00e9gies pratiques pour des liens efficaces avec le march\u00e9 et une gestion financi\u00e8re qui propulseront leurs coop\u00e9ratives \u00e0 un niveau sup\u00e9rieur.
