    L'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore forme des s\u0153urs catholiques aux fondements de l'entrepreneuriat social<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Des s\u0153urs catholiques d\u00e9termin\u00e9es de diverses congr\u00e9gations du Kenya, de l'Ouganda, de la Tanzanie et de la Zambie se sont embarqu\u00e9es en ao\u00fbt et septembre 2023 dans un voyage d'autonomisation et de transformation. L'\u00e9cole de commerce de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore (SBS), en partenariat avec l'Association des femmes consacr\u00e9es d'Afrique orientale et centrale (ACWECA), a form\u00e9 des s\u0153urs au programme \u2019Foundations of Social Entrepreneurship Management\" (FSEM). Le module FSEM est con\u00e7u pour doter les s\u0153urs des comp\u00e9tences et des connaissances n\u00e9cessaires pour g\u00e9rer efficacement leurs entreprises sociales. Cette initiative fait partie du projet \"Sisters' Blended Value\" soutenu par la Fondation Conrad N. Hilton.<\/p>\n

    La formation, qui a attir\u00e9 trente et un participants de vingt-sept congr\u00e9gations du Kenya, s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e entre le 14 et le 15 octobre.th<\/sup> et 18th<\/sup> Ao\u00fbt. Le programme de formation complet couvrait plusieurs sujets con\u00e7us pour permettre aux participants d'acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences dans divers aspects de la gestion d'une entreprise sociale. L'un des th\u00e8mes centraux de la formation \u00e9tait le leadership, avec des sessions ax\u00e9es sur la connaissance de soi et la gestion efficace des \u00e9quipes. Ces sujets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences de leadership des s\u0153urs, leur permettant de conduire leurs entreprises vers le succ\u00e8s avec une vision claire et la conscience de soi. R\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant \u00e0 la formation, S\u0153ur Mackline Adema de la congr\u00e9gation des S\u0153urs de Marie de Kakamega a not\u00e9 qu'elle avait appris qu'elle \u00e9tait responsable de son \u00e9quipe et qu'elle la surveillerait constamment pour s'assurer qu'elle marche ensemble.<\/p>\n

    Trente-deux s\u0153urs de vingt-deux congr\u00e9gations ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation au Centre spirituel Mbaghala \u00e0 Dar es Salaam en Tanzanie entre le 21 et le 25 ao\u00fbt 2023. L'un des points forts de la formation a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'utilisation d'un \u201coutil d'introspection\u201d qui a aid\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir leurs forces et traits de caract\u00e8re individuels. Cet outil a servi de guide aux participants, leur permettant de se plonger dans un voyage de d\u00e9couverte de soi, o\u00f9 ils ont pu d\u00e9couvrir leurs forces uniques et leurs qualit\u00e9s intrins\u00e8ques. L'accent mis sur la connaissance de soi et le d\u00e9veloppement personnel est apparu comme une caract\u00e9ristique d\u00e9terminante de l'exp\u00e9rience de formation dans les quatre pays : Kenya, Ouganda, Tanzanie et Zambie.<\/p>\n

    La formation s'est \u00e9galement pench\u00e9e sur les principes fondamentaux de la gestion des entreprises sociales. Les participantes ont pu mieux comprendre la dynamique unique des entreprises sociales, qui op\u00e8rent \u00e0 l'intersection des affaires et du bien social. Des sujets tels que la tenue des comptes, les strat\u00e9gies de durabilit\u00e9 et la mesure de l'impact social ont permis aux s\u0153urs d'acqu\u00e9rir une compr\u00e9hension globale de la gestion de leurs entreprises tout en garantissant leur long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et leur contribution positive \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Comme l'a dit avec \u00e9loquence une s\u0153ur de Zambie, \u201ccette formation nous a ouvert les yeux sur le pouvoir transformateur de la combinaison du sens des affaires avec un c\u0153ur compatissant. Nous avons appris qu'une comptabilit\u00e9 efficace nous permet non seulement de prendre des d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es, mais aussi d'am\u00e9liorer la transparence de nos activit\u00e9s\u201d. Des sujets tels que les strat\u00e9gies de durabilit\u00e9 et la mesure de l'impact social ont permis aux s\u0153urs de bien comprendre comment g\u00e9rer leurs entreprises tout en garantissant leur long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et leur contribution positive \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

    Les s\u0153urs ont \u00e9galement explor\u00e9 des strat\u00e9gies de communication efficaces pour entrer en contact avec les parties prenantes, les partenaires et les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires. Ces strat\u00e9gies ont permis d'accro\u00eetre la port\u00e9e et l'influence de leurs entreprises respectives. S\u0153ur Teresia Muia, des Filles de Sainte-Anne, a exprim\u00e9 son point de vue \u00e9clair\u00e9, d\u00e9clarant que l'exp\u00e9rience de formation avait \u00e9largi sa compr\u00e9hension. \u201cJe me suis rendu compte qu'une communication sans faille entre deux personnes est une aspiration, pas une r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Pourtant, la fr\u00e9quence de notre communication renforce consid\u00e9rablement notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faire confiance\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Vingt-trois s\u0153urs de dix-huit congr\u00e9gations ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation FSEM en Zambie. En Ouganda, vingt-huit participantes de dix-sept congr\u00e9gations ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation. Le succ\u00e8s de la formation refl\u00e8te l'engagement et le d\u00e9vouement de toutes les parties concern\u00e9es, y compris les organisateurs, les formateurs, les participants et les organisations de soutien. Il t\u00e9moigne de l'importance d'encourager les entreprises sociales durables et de doter les individus des comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour contribuer positivement \u00e0 leurs communaut\u00e9s et au-del\u00e0. Il refl\u00e8te un engagement commun \u00e0 donner aux s\u0153urs catholiques les moyens de devenir des agents de changement efficaces.<\/p>\n
