visited Optimum Healthcare Center, a healthcare facility owned by one of their colleagues, Winnie Adhiambo. The visit included a tour of the 15-bed capacity health center along with a session for the alumni to share ideas and insights with Winnie on some of the key areas for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Denis Ogolla, the Academic Lead for the Programme, took the alumni through a discussion on strategy, marketing and organisational policies that Winnie has employed.<\/p>\n<p>La diversit\u00e9 du secteur des soins de sant\u00e9 et son importance ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en \u00e9vidence au cours de cette p\u00e9riode plus que dans toute autre p\u00e9riode de l'histoire. Si les \u00e9tablissements de soins sont souvent d\u00e9tenus et g\u00e9r\u00e9s par des professionnels de la sant\u00e9, l'ensemble des comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires n'est ni enseign\u00e9 dans le cadre des \u00e9tudes de m\u00e9decine, de pharmacie ou d'infirmerie, ni acquis par l'exp\u00e9rience.
