Notre succ\u00e8s se mesure uniquement \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de nos dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s, que nous cherchons continuellement \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer et \u00e0 nous am\u00e9liorer nous-m\u00eames\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Dr Edward Mungai, vice-chancelier adjoint charg\u00e9 de la planification et du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 Strathmore. Mungai s'exprimait lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise de dipl\u00f4mes \u00e0 66 cadres sup\u00e9rieurs de l'administration fiscale k\u00e9nyane, dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s d'un programme personnalis\u00e9 baptis\u00e9 \"Leader as Coach Programme\".<\/p>\n<p>Le programme, con\u00e7u pour les cadres - qu'ils soient nouveaux ou exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s - a pour but de transmettre des comp\u00e9tences visant \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un leader ayant une approche empathique et personnalis\u00e9e de la gestion des employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Angela Ndunge, responsable du cours et doyenne ex\u00e9cutive par int\u00e9rim de la SBS, a d\u00e9fini le programme comme un ensemble de mesures visant \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une culture de haute performance au sein d'une organisation. Souvent, si le sommet est dysfonctionnel, cela se r\u00e9percute sur l'ensemble de l'organisation. L'instauration d'une culture qui s'\u00e9tend \u00e0 tous les niveaux de l'organisation et qui permet d'\u00e9tablir des priorit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de performances, tout en tenant compte de l'attention personnelle accord\u00e9e \u00e0 tous les employ\u00e9s, quelle que soit leur culture ou leur personnalit\u00e9, est essentielle pour une gestion efficace qui fait bonne impression et produit des r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme a \u00e9galement cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 ancrer des comp\u00e9tences pratiques de coaching align\u00e9es sur les valeurs fondamentales de l'universit\u00e9 de Strathmore les plus pertinentes pour le programme : service \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, excellence, apprentissage tout au long de la vie, libert\u00e9 avec responsabilit\u00e9 et attention personnalis\u00e9e. Le programme Leader as Coach s'efforce de donner aux participants une appr\u00e9ciation du leadership \u00e9thique, reconnaissable dans leurs r\u00e9sultats et ceux de leur \u00e9quipe. Les participants consid\u00e8rent le programme comme essentiel pour tous les nouveaux managers et les managers exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, soulignant l'engagement de SBS envers ces valeurs dans la mani\u00e8re dont le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre et dont les besoins des participants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 satisfaits. Un participant a particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 l'attention personnalis\u00e9e qui lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9e, ainsi qu'aux autres participants, tout au long du programme : \u2019en tant qu'apprenant adulte ayant des priorit\u00e9s concurrentes, il est facile de prendre du retard par rapport aux exigences de la charge de cours. Cependant, le personnel et les enseignants de SBS ont toujours fait un effort suppl\u00e9mentaire pour s'assurer que nous atteignions la ligne d'arriv\u00e9e\u201c, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Repr\u00e9sentant le Commissaire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la KRA, le Dr. Mugambi Mwirigi, Commissaire de la Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA), a soulign\u00e9 l'engagement de l'Autorit\u00e9 \u00e0 responsabiliser et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences de ses employ\u00e9s. \u201cRien qu'en 2022, nous avons form\u00e9 plus de 17 000 membres du personnel afin de renforcer leurs capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 atteindre les buts et objectifs de notre organisation\u201d, a-t-il not\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9but d'ann\u00e9e, lors de la pr\u00e9sentation du budget 2022\/2023, le gouvernement kenyan a propos\u00e9 que la Kenya Revenue Authority devienne le Kenya Revenue Service, afin de mieux inculquer les valeurs de la prestation de services et d'en finir avec l'association du pouvoir et du commandement qu'apporte une autorit\u00e9. Le service \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fait partie int\u00e9grante des fonctions de direction ; en tant qu'agence nationale de collecte des recettes, ces services sont n\u00e9cessaires dans tout le pays et constituent la base du d\u00e9veloppement actuel et futur du Kenya. Par cons\u00e9quent, le service \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fait partie int\u00e9grante de la mission et du mandat de l'Autorit\u00e9. Un participant a d\u00e9crit le programme comme \u201cfaisant partie des objectifs plus larges de l'Autorit\u00e9 - au niveau individuel et organisationnel\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Notre r\u00f4le de partenaire de la connaissance permet une pollinisation crois\u00e9e des id\u00e9es et des valeurs qui inspirent les dirigeants \u00e0 apporter des changements significatifs et qui incitent les participants \u00e0 remplir leurs fonctions.
