second cohort of the New Managers Leadership Programme. The Programme ran from the 16th August 2021 and culminated in a graduation on 20th August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>This second cohort attracted 41 participants from Kenya, Uganda &amp; Tanzania. A total of 12 organizations ranging from Non profit, banks, insurance, Telcom, Academia, Financial Sector were represented.\u00a0 The third cohort of the Programme will take place between 1st November 2021 and 5th November 2021 at Strathmore University Business School.<\/p>\n<p>La promotion \u00e0 un poste d'encadrement est un rite de passage passionnant pour tout nouveau dipl\u00f4m\u00e9. Mais il y a de nombreux pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 \u00e9viter lorsqu'il s'agit d'affiner ses comp\u00e9tences de mani\u00e8re globale. Si le nouveau manager a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu pour ses comp\u00e9tences techniques, la gestion de soi et des autres est un terrain min\u00e9. Il doit apprendre \u00e0 diriger les autres plut\u00f4t qu'\u00e0 faire le travail lui-m\u00eame, \u00e0 motiver, \u00e0 g\u00e9rer ses pairs, \u00e0 gagner la confiance et le respect, et \u00e0 trouver le juste \u00e9quilibre entre d\u00e9l\u00e9gation et contr\u00f4le. C'est une transition que beaucoup trouvent difficile \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser.<\/p>\n<p>The New Manager Leadership Programme (NMLP) is our entry-level leadership programme. It focuses on improving capabilities such as effective presentation and communication skills, team dynamics, planning and budgeting, the effective feedback process, problem-solving and conflict resolution, decision-making skills, and different management styles.<\/p>\n<p>November 2021 Intake is ongoing!
