DESCRIPTION:Partner:RegisterOverviewAs a buildup on the 8th Devolution Conference that was held in 2023 and in readiness for purposive  engagement in  the ongoing efforts of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) to design the 4th generation formula for sharing revenue between county governments for  approval by the Senate\, the International Budget Partnership- Kenya and the Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG) at the Strathmore University Business School\, will host a Policy Symposium on “Future of Financing Devolution in Kenya.” \nThis policy dialogue will take a holistic look at the different streams of funding devolutions and how that may mean for the future of devolution. \nObjectivesThis Policy Symposium seeks to: \n\nfacilitate a comprehensive discussion on Kenya’s devolution progress and its implications for equitable development.\nBy engaging diverse stakeholders and experts\, we aim to provide actionable insights that contribute to the continued success of Kenya’s devolved system of government.\nThe outcomes of these discussions will directly inform the ongoing process of transferring county functions and the design of the fourth-generation revenue-sharing formula.
