    In the fast-paced business landscape, many entrepreneurs and business leaders tend to focus on metrics such as profit margins, market shares, and competitive strategies as the primary indicators of success. However, often overlooked are the softer, intangible elements are equally crucial in driving long-term growth and sustainability. These soft building blocks, such as leadership development, emotional intelligence, and personal alignment with purpose, differentiate thriving businesses from those that merely survive. In an increasingly competitive and technologically advanced business environment, the ability to innovate, adapt, and stay connected to both personal values and customer needs is becoming more important than ever.<\/p>\n

    Sally Mahihu, Founder and CEO of Seasoned Woman Forum and the Board Chairperson for Ken Invest, believes that the hidden “soft” factors in business are often the key drivers of sustainable success. Speaking while giving her keynote address at the recently concluded 12th Annual SME Conference and Expo, Sally noted that while financial performance and strategic growth are important, it\u2019s the foundational aspects\u2014self-awareness, purpose, values, and people\u2014that ultimately create businesses with resilience, impact, and lasting influence. \u201cAddressing these hidden factors is especially important for women entrepreneurs, who may face additional challenges such as risk aversion, balancing societal expectations, and navigating male-dominated industries,\u201d Sally noted. Sally shared the seven Ps, which she believes serve as the hidden foundations that every entrepreneur, especially women entrepreneurs, should embrace to unlock their full potential and grow their businesses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    The Person \u2013 Self-Awareness & Identity<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The first step to business success starts with self-awareness. Knowing yourself\u2014your strengths, weaknesses, and unique gifts\u2014is essential for navigating the complex world of entrepreneurship. When you are clear on who you are, you can focus on what you bring. Your business journey begins with understanding yourself. When you know your strengths, you can leverage them for success.<\/p>\n

    Passion and Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Passion is the fuel that keeps entrepreneurs going. Sally asks: Do you know where you thrive?<\/em> Identifying what excites you and aligns with your purpose is key to choosing the right business venture. Too many people find themselves in the wrong race, chasing ideas that don\u2019t align with their interests or strengths. But when you pursue what you love, you\u2019ll not only enjoy the process but also create a business that stands out in a crowded marketplace. Passion is not just a motivational phrase\u2014it\u2019s the secret to finding your unique niche and thriving in it.<\/p>\n
