    Celebrating Service: Strathmore University Honors Alumni for Societal Impact at Alumni Connect 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

    On Saturday, August 10, 2024, Strathmore University hosted the highly anticipated Strathmore Alumni Connect event, bringing together alumni for an evening of networking and reconnecting.<\/p>\n

    The highlight of the event was the launch of the inaugural Alumni of the Year: Service to Society Award, a new initiative aimed at honoring and celebrating alumni who have made significant contributions to societal well-being.<\/p>\n

    This prestigious award is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a strong sense of community among our graduates. It serves to inspire and recognize those who have gone above and beyond in their service to society, reflecting the core values and mission of Strathmore University.<\/p>\n

    We were thrilled to recognize six exceptional alumni from the Bachelor of Commerce Programme, each of whom has demonstrated a profound commitment to service to society:<\/p>\n

    3. Dennis Mwaura<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Michael Babu<\/strong><\/li>\n

    6. Seth Oburu<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Among the distinguished awardees, Prudence Vera Mutembei was honored as the second runner-up for her remarkable efforts and impact.<\/p>\n

      Johson Mwawasi Kilanga received the first runner-up award, highlighting his outstanding contributions and dedication.<\/p>\n

      The award ceremony not only celebrated these incredible achievements but also emphasized the importance of continued service and the positive impact that our alumni have on society. The evening was filled with inspiring stories and a renewed sense of pride in the Strathmore alumni community.<\/p>\n
