This innovative approach, designed to help farmers track their sustainable practices, stands to make significant contributions to global sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Professor McGlade, who also teaches at the Institute for Global Prosperity at the University College London (UCL) co-founded Downforce Technologies in 2021 with the vision of leveraging technology to enhance agricultural sustainability. The recent US patent validates the team\u2019s commitment to developing advanced tools for environmental management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Importance of Soil Organic Carbon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Soil organic carbon (SOC) is the world&#8217;s largest carbon sink, playing a crucial role in mitigating climate change.
