    On the 3rd of March 2023, the Sisters’ Blended Value Project marked a major milestone. The project saw 48 participants from the Social Enterprise Programme (start-up and growth) take part in the pitching event. The sisters showcased their action learning projects which spanned various industries including agriculture, education, hospitality, manufacturing, and more successfully pitched their presentations to a panel of Strathmore University Business School faculty.<\/p>\n

    \n

    The Sisters’ innovative business ideas were met with great enthusiasm and support from the panel of judges. Their presentations were not only inspiring but also demonstrated the positive impact that social enterprises can have on society. The pitching sessions were the final requirement before the sisters successfully graduated from the programme.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    The graduation ceremony was a colourful event that was graced by notable guests including Strathmore University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Elizabeth Gachenga, Strathmore University Business School Deputy Executive Dean, Dr. Angela Ndunge, who also serves as the principal investigator for the project, and Dr. Nancy Njiraini, Academic and Research Lead for the project. The guests applauded the sisters’ entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and dedication to creating social impact.<\/p>\n

    The Sisters’ Blended Value Project has been a tremendous success, through developing the capacities of consecrated women to transform their social ministries to sustainable social enterprises. The project has provided a platform for women to showcase their skills, creativity, and leadership qualities. As the sisters move forward, they will undoubtedly continue to create positive change in their communities and beyond.<\/p>\n
