Strathmore University Business School wishes to congratulate Ms. Helena Christopher Mzena on her recent appointment as the CEO of Jubilee Life Insurance Corporation of Tanzania Limited.<\/p>\n

Ms. Mzena brings to the table more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before her appointment, she served as the company\u2019s Chief Financial Officer.<\/p>\n

She joined the company as an Underwriter in 2011 and has held various senior management positions in both Jubilee Insurance Company of Tanzania and Jubilee Life Insurance Corporation of Tanzania Limited.<\/p>\n

At Jubilee Life Insurance, she has been instrumental in leadership, strategy and business development, finance and budgeting, risk management, compliance and controls, and strengthening the company\u2019s governance structures.<\/p>\n

She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Financial Management from Liverpool\u2019s John Moore University and a bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance and Financial Information Systems from the University of Greenwich, UK. She also has an International Post-Graduate Diploma in Life Insurance from the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management.<\/p>\n

She is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute-UK, a fellow member of ACCA, ACPA Tanzania, a certified female Future Leader from ATE\/ESAMI University Business School, and an alumna of the SBS\u00a0Senior Management Leadership Development Programme-Tanzania<\/a><\/p>\n
