Project Overview:

STARS project is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR/UK). The overall objective is to reduce the number and severity of road accidents in Low and medium income Countries (LMICs). The study is led by University of Southampton (UK) in collaboration with:

The STARS project intends to tackle road safety from 7E’s’ perspective with the inclusion of

  1. a) Ergonomics: involving stakeholders.
  2. b) Economics: value for money
  3. c) Emergency response: embracing the inclusion of emergency needs
  4. d) Enablement
