The Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM), Strathmore Business School (SBS) in collaboration with Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Germany, developed and implemented a Blended Learning Programme on Hospital Management. The program is offered online with 5 days of face to face training. Two cohorts have been trained so far with the third cohort beginning on 14th January 2019. The program is currently on sustainability mode with students paying fees for the program.

The study seeks to investigate how regulatory risk-rating of health facilities feeds into community engagement and accountability mechanisms. The study findings will inform policy on how to increase public engagement/involvement in health facility regulation and how to capitalize on community accountability mechanisms to improve services.
To address some of the challenges supply chain and logistics operations, Kuehne Foundation is supporting Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM), at Strathmore Business School to offer training on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM). Kuehne Foundation is also supporting IHM to build internal capacity in Logistics and Supply Chain Management research and training. This will include support for curricula development for short courses, Masters Programmes, field trips, PhD training and workshops.
