This workshop is intended to introduce current and potential doctoral students to the field of entrepreneurship research and practice. The participants will be exposed to broad research themes in entrepreneurship to assist them to begin considering various topics in entrepreneurship management.

An overview of methodological approaches in this area will be presented.

Programme Objective

The purpose of this Workshop is to expose participants to fundamental principles and methods of research in social sciences.

As such, the workshop has a dual aim: at a broad level, it aims at providing participants with a basic understanding of what research at the doctoral level entails; and at an operational level, the workshop aims at familiarizing participants with the tools needed to develop a concept paper and/or a research proposal.

For Who

The workshop is targeted at individuals who are considering enrolling in any doctoral programme available worldwide.
