This workshop is intended to introduce the field of operations management (encompassing logistics and supply chain management) and its research and practice. Potential doctoral students will be exposed to broad research themes in operations management, in order to aid the participants to begin considering various topics in operations management. An overview of methodological approaches (with an emphasis on quantitative modeling approaches) will be presented.

Various methodological approaches used in operations management

How to identify a research problem for publication.
