Through a collaborative partnership between Strathmore Business School (SBS) and Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), professionals across East Africa can now acquire globally acclaimed International Coach Federation (ICF) certification.
FSDA has been instrumental in the development of the SBS Regional Leadership Development Academies in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. This has been through a capacity building grant by FSDA to SBS with the objective of developing and training over 1,000 senior and mid-level executives in the financial sector across the three countries.
“Our partnership with FSDA has given us a platform to reach out to executives in East Africa; improving both individual and organisational performance. This has been established through the integration of workplace coaching as a productivity enabler. Executive coaching is also an integral element in realising the Business School’s mission of True Transformation through Virtue. As we expand our reach to the East African region, we are confident that using coaching as an enabler to both individual and organisational growth, can yield great impact. With this regard, we are committed to developing coaches who are competent, accredited and virtuous to carry out this mission,” said Thomas Mundia, Strathmore Business School Coaching Director.
Successful participants of the program will receive certificates at various stages of the program, culminating to the ICF accreditation certification at the end of the final module. They will also coach participants of the regional academies leadership development programs in their respective countries.
