Strathmore University, WaterWatch Project MoU To Address Challenges in the Agricultural Sector

WaterWatch Projects, an organization based in Netherlands signed an memorandum of understanding with Strathmore University with the goal of establishing the first ever Agri-Space Centre of Excellence in Kenya to address problems facing agricultural sector.
The one year discussions which involved several key players such as Kenyan Government, Netherlands Embassy, SNV, Vitol Group, M-Farm and Shamba Sensor focused on the role of Strathmore in offering a neutral space and creating partnerships between academia, researchers and innovators in offering disruptive solutions such as new technologies, proper use of water and help reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides.
