The ever growing demands to educate and nurture graduates fit for the industrial job market, continues to necessitate a regular review and development of new and effective learning and teaching methodologies. Strathmore Business School provided customised training to the University of Dodoma Academic Staff. The training program was set to develop the academic staff of the College of Business Studies and Law to be able to use the case methodology in teaching adults.
The participants gained practical experience in preparing learning sessions, integrated with peer and program faculty assessment and feedback review.
Through a collaborative partnership between Strathmore Business School (SBS) and Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), SBS has been able to establish Regional Leadership Development Academies in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. This has been through a capacity building grant by FSDA to SBS with the objective of developing and training over 1,000 senior and mid-level executives.
The University of Dodoma is a public university in Tanzania: The largest university in EA sitting on 6,000 hectare land and with a student capacity of 50,000 currently with a student population of 30,000.
