Making Use of Behavioral Economics to Influence Decision Making

Behavioral economics has transformed our understanding of how people make economic decisions and has recently gained significant traction in shaping policy. Behavioral solutions have the potential to transform organization’s results with minimal alterations at low cost.

Strathmore Business School, Busara Center for Behavioral Economics and ideas42 will be hosting Behavioral Research for Emerging and Applied Knowledge (BREAK) – East Africa’s premier conference on applied behavioral research on July14th at Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya.

BREAK is an annual conference for practitioners interested in applying insights and methods from behavioral science. The focus of the conference changes from year to year and is organized around areas where there is a particularly strong demand and potential for applied behavioral science.

BREAK is targeted towards individuals who operate in developing markets and are experienced or interested in applying behavioral sciences to their organizational challenges.
