Dean to Attend Pan-African Conference on Sustainability

Strathmore Business School Dean, Dr. George Njenga will be attending The Sustainable Development Goals Center for Africa (SDGC/A) Conference to be held on 27th January 2017 in Kigali, Rwanda. The conference themed ‘Expediting the Implementation of Africa’s 2030 Agenda’ will convene over 200 African leaders as they discuss the path towards the attainment of the Sustainability Goals agenda of 2030.

The SDGC/A Conference will also launch the presentation of the Africa Report 2030 which will document how Africa can achieve the SDGs by 2030 and discuss the major themes relevant to SDG implementation in Africa. The discussions will also include an in-depth assessment of the performance of African countries on the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

The Sustainable Development Goals Center for Africa (SDGC/A) is an autonomous international organization that provides technical support and expertise as input to national governments, private sector, civil society and academic institutions to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda across Africa.
