Dr. David Gicheru Kariuki, Strathmore Business School’s MBA in Healthcare Management alumnus has been appointed to head Policy and Planning Programmes in the Ministry of Health. This is in a bid to enhance effectiveness in excecution of programmes and service delivery. Dr. David Kariuki previously served as the Senior Deputy Director Medical Services at Kiambu level 4 hospital. His timely appointment aligns with the current needs of both the National and County health strategies; to assess health systems and health care structures, to deliver favorable results.
