Dr. James K. Wanjagi holds a PhD degree in Organizational Management – Leadership specialization, from Capella University – School of Business in Minneapolis, MN. He is a seasoned senior level executive, certified Project Management professional, Change Management / Communication strategist, and IT technology expert with over 15 years extensive “marketplace” experience managing organizational performance and multi million dollar operations, and projects.
He is accomplished at identifying business opportunities, developing strategic road maps, assembling effective teams, and executing to deliver bottom-line results that enhance organizational growth and sustainability. He has strong background generating high customer satisfaction, by delivering increased customer value, through superior value-delivery systems. An expert at developing “best in class” organizational initiatives and also efficient at leading organizations to maximize business success and meet organizational goals. James also understands Business Process Re-engineering as he has been involved in numerous BPO initiatives.
Dr. Wanjagi is currently working as the Chief Information Officer (Consulting) for a major technology finance company in Nairobi, as well as teaching Executive Education, Project Management, and MBA-MIS classes at Strathmore University (SBS). He also runs a consultancy firm that deals with IT and leadership consulting, project management advisory, and research services.
